Tragic News From Israel
On Monday, June 30, news outlets in both Israel as well as in the United States began reporting the tragic news that the three Israeli teenagers abducted approximately 18 days earlier, were discovered murdered in a field near Hebron. It is with profound grief and sadness that I share this terrible news with you. Read Full Article >
Annual Yom Hashoah Holocaust Memorial Service
Three generations of the Gluzman, Baumzweig and Marks family participated in the presentation of stories and pictures about the experiences of the Lachman family. It was a moving and deeply personal account and all who were present were touched by it.
We want to make the story available to all the members of the community to learn more about this inspirational story. We invite you to take the opportunity to read the entire account of this family’s saga, written by the European journalist Mark Honigsbaum entitled, Surviving the Shoah: The remarkable true story of the Lachmans of Antwerp.
To remember the Holocaust is a sacred obligation. By learning the stories of those who perished, as well as those who survived, may we be inspired to redouble our efforts to remember the past, and to build an even greater future for the Jewish people.
Vibrant Jewish Community
Above all, the JCCP/CBT is about being part of a vibrant Jewish congregation and community. We enjoy many festive holiday celebrations and educational opportunities, as well as numerous social activities. Please come for a visit, and see why “Community” is our middle name.
Convenient Location
The JCCP/CBT is located in Paramus, New Jersey, in the heart of Bergen County, and just outside of New York City. Our facility is close to several major highways, kosher restaurants, super markets, and nearby kosher butchers. Because of our location, the JCCP/CBT is often referred to as a Bergen County synagogue or temple, a Northern New Jersey synagogue or temple, or even a North Eastern New Jersey synagogue or temple.
Conservative Jewish Worship
We pride ourselves in being a dynamic source of traditional Conservative Jewish worship. We encourage participation, personal growth, and cultural enrichment through Daily Minyan, Shabbat, and holiday services.

On Shabbat we offer two Shabbat morning services, one in a Traditional Egalitarian format, and the other in a Traditional Non-Egalitarian format.
