Our Youth department offers a multitude of social activities for our children and teens.
Some activities are within the four walls of the JCCP/CBT and others are part of a regional youth program.
JCCP/CBT Chaverim – for 3rd-7th grade children. This program meets at the JCCP/CBT every three weeks and is run by Fred Weisman along with teen assistants. These programs always include a pizza dinner and an activity: – Sports in the gym, games in our newly refurbished Youth Lounge, movie night, trips to the park, arts and crafts for the holidays and an occasional guest presenter. Chaverim meets on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7 p.m. This is a pay as you go event and all are welcome, synagogue membership not required!
Kadima – for 6th-8th graders. The newly formed FLIPPER chapter of Kadima includes the JCCP/CBT and three other local congregations. Together the kids will enjoy a multitude of activities, in the various congregations and also as part of the larger region of Kadima.
USY – for High School Students. The newly formed FLIPPER chapter of USY includes the JCCP/CBT and three other local congregations. The USYers will have local activities in the home synagogues and will participate in the larger region too. Dances, shabbatonim, retreats, social action projects etc.
