Coronavirus Information

With extreme caution due to the Novel Coronavirus, the JCCP/CBT building will be closed for the near future.
We are holding Kabbalat Shabbat, Havdalah and Daily Evening Minyan Services online each week. See flyer below. Contact our office, 201-262-7691 for details.
We will suspend Shabbat and morning minyans, all rentals, meetings and activities in the synagogue building.
Religious School has gone online! Email our Education Director to join! 
The JCCP/CBT offices will closed.
Rabbi Weiner and the office staff will be working their regular hours remotely, answering phone messages and email.

Youth Groups

Our Youth department offers a multitude of social activities for our children and teens.

Some activities are within the four walls of the JCCP/CBT and others are part of a regional youth program.

Schedule for FLIPPER USY and Kadima activities

Application to join USY for High School students

Application to join Kadima, FLIPPER chapter for grade 6-8 students

  1. JCCP/CBT Chaverim – for 3rd-7th grade children. This program meets at the JCCP/CBT every three weeks and is run by Fred Weisman along with teen assistants.  These programs always include a pizza dinner and an activity: – Sports in the gym, games in our newly refurbished Youth Lounge, movie night, trips to the park, arts and crafts for the holidays and an occasional guest presenter.  Chaverim meets on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7 p.m.  This is a pay as you go event and all are welcome, synagogue membership not required!
  2. Kadima – for 6th-8th graders. The newly formed FLIPPER chapter of Kadima includes the JCCP/CBT and three other local congregations.  Together the kids will enjoy a multitude of activities, in the various congregations and also as part of the larger region of Kadima.
  3. USY – for High School Students. The newly formed FLIPPER chapter of USY includes the JCCP/CBT and three other local congregations. The USYers will have local activities in the home synagogues and will participate in the larger region too.  Dances, shabbatonim, retreats, social action projects etc.
  4. JCCP/CBT will continue its occasional teen activities which will include Shabbat dinner and socializing in our gym and Youth Lounge.
