Who Are We?
Paramus USY is an organization that provides Jewish teens the opportunity to meet, socialize and make life-long friendships while exploring their Judaism. Paramus USY is sponsored by the Jewish Community Center of Paramus. Paramus USY belongs to the Hagalil Region, which is comprised of many other chapters throughout Central and North Jersey. Internationally, Hagalil is one of 17 regions throughout the United States and Canada.
Paramus USY is lead by its members - the youth. The elected executive board is responsible for planning and executing events such as a Bowl-A-Thon, Car Wash, Sukkah Progressive Dinner, Supermarket Scavenger Hunt, Wii & Game Night and Hillel Night.The members of Paramus USY are also responsible for maintaining this website!
On the Regional level, USY members are able to meet and hang out with their friends who live throughout the region at Conventions, Dances and other events during the year. There is even an International Convention, where USY members can meet other USYers from different parts of the world. All these events are great ways to meet other Jewish teens with similar interests and experience Shabbat together.

How Do I Join?
If you are a high school student (grades 9-12) and are interested in meeting and socializing with other Jewish teens, become part of Paramus USY!!
