Dedicated
February 1961
Our extensive library was dedicated in February of 1961, the third
anniversary of the construction of the JCCP. Some years later
it was rededicated in memory of Jan Lauren Schonberg.
Books,
Magazines, Newspapers, and Videos
Our collection consists of Jewish works of fiction, non-fiction
and reference materials. Magazines and newspapers are plentiful
and videos are also available. It is a wonderful resource for
our children to aid them in researching their religious school
projects.
Solomon
Schechter Award
Our library has been the recipient of a Solomon
Schechter award from the United Synagogue in “recognition
of the excellence attained through its congregation library.”
We are continually acquiring new books, many of which are synopsized
in our monthly bulletin article.
Wide
Variety of Used Books on Sale
Thanks to the generous donations
of our members, we always have a wide variety of used books on
sale for a modest price.
Wonderful
Place for Both Children and Adults
It is a wonderful place for both children and adults to visit.
Our librarians are always there to welcome you with a smile and
a “nosh.” Please take some time to come in and browse!
