Celebrating our 35th Year | ||||
Celebrating
our 35th year, the Early Childhood Center is state licensed and
highly regarded throughout the Bergen County area. Committed to
providing high quality early childhood programs for Jewish children
and their families, we offer an innovative transitional Toddler
program for young twos, Pre-Nursery classes for children between
2-1/2 and 3, and half days for 3 and 4 year olds with optional longer
day extensions available. |

| Building a Solid Foundation | |||||
It
has been long accepted that the early years are formative ones during
which tremendous growth takes place. Building a solid foundation
and a positive self-image are vital elements for future success.
We at the Early Childhood Center place strong emphasis on the total
development of each individual child. Curiosity, creativity, independence,
socialization skills and intellectual growth are encouraged while
instilling a love for, and a basic understanding of, Judaism. |

| Fun, Unpressured Environment | |||||
Our
program is child-centered and our curriculum is “hands on”.
Children are exposed to a broad range of materials and experiences
on an appropriate level in order to enhance each child’s development
in all areas. We provide many opportunities for play, since we strongly
believe in its value in a child’s life. On a daily basis,
we strive to create an awareness of others and a sense of community.
We offer an enriched Judaic curriculum that brings increasing knowledge
and appreciation of our traditions and heritage through weekly Shabbat
programs, Holiday celebrations, music and crafts. We’re proud
of our superb staff of experienced, nurturing and gifted teachers
and our low child:teacher ratio. All learning takes place in a fun,
unpressured environment. |

child will feel secure and happy in our well-equipped, comfortable
facility, boasting bright airy rooms, and located in a large house
adjacent to the Center. We also offer a very popular six-week summer
camp program, which makes extensive use of our spacious and shady
playground. |
