A Traditional Conservative Congregation
  

The Jewish Community Center of Paramus is a traditional Conservative Congregation serving the religious, educational, cultural and social needs of the greater Jewish Community in Paramus, Oradell, River Edge, and other Bergen County towns. We are affiliated with The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

 
Religious Services
Daily, Shabbat, and Holidays

We offer a daily morning and evening Minyan, Shabbat Services on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Tot Shabbat and Junior Congregation are also held Saturday mornings, and the Young Family Services are held on the first Friday of the month.

 
Youth Education
The JCCP is proud of our award-winning Hebrew School, offering a complete religious education program for children in kindergarten through grade 7. The Center participates in a magnet supplementary high school program for grades 8 - 12. Bar and Bat Mitzvah training and preparation is integrated into classroom studies and on an individual basis. The Candle Club for the pre-school child, is offered as an enjoyable introduction to their Jewish education. Our Nursery School offers a quality early childhood curriculum and introduction to Jewish traditional music and language for children 2 - 5 years old.
 
Young Couples Club
Our award-winning Young Couples Club welcomes families whose youngest child has not had a Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony. Shabbat Services and family events are held by the Young Couples Club monthly.
 
Sisterhood and Men's Club

Men's Club and Sisterhood are groups within the JCCP. These active organizations work together to have fun and support the Center.
       
   
Youth Groups
  
   
Youth Group activities provide programs and activities for members of all ages. Our youth program is affiliated with United Synagogue Youth and provides our young people with programs bonding them to the State of Israel and the local Jewish Community.
  
       
   
Our Ballroom
  
   
Our facilities include a ballroom that accommodates up to 200, providing an ideal setting for weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs or other occasions.
